You're doing fine, Lynne. You've linked to the wiki...now all you have to do is write your blog post/s, which you've obviously got the hang of.
It does take a while to get a hang of all this so don't expect to be an expert in just a couple of weeks - it take times to learn all the technical tricks of the trade. But you will learn as you practice and hear other people's experiences and tips :)
